Hi, I’m Erick and I opened FirstManJewelry with the purpose to bring back native traditional inspired pieces and to be sustainable while doing it, along with having fun in the process.

I did jewelry making on the side for many years while my main focus was in the I.T. world. With the onset of the pandemic I shifted my focus to my passion of making jewelry full time. I used to think I wasn’t talented enough to be a jewelry person until I discovered my style or styles. I’ve always enjoyed being creative and once I started making jewelry, everything clicked for me as a hobby turned business! My wife and I both share the love of creating and we compliment each other’s work by making pieces that compliment the wearer. I love working with all types of mediums, glass, wood, bone, acrylic, polymer clay, metals, gemstones, and wire.

The Handcrafted jewelry items I make come from a place in my heart. They are made with so much love and detail, that they just give me a special feeling when I see others wearing something I have crafted and worked so hard on. 

While I love Jewelry on its own, my hope for FirstManJewelry is to be a one stop shop for people of all tastes. While my main focus is island and sustainable jewelry, I also craft trendy and fun accessories, and of course, other items too! I am constantly inspired by music, places I visit, friends and customers, so I can’t wait to continue adding things to my store.
